Multi-Location Local SEO
Project Overview
Fazenda is a premium Brazilian rodizio steakhouse with three locations across the North of England. Leeds, Manchester, and Liverpool. Known for their theatrical dining experience and high-quality cuts of meat, they had built a loyal customer base through repeat visits and word-of-mouth. However, each location's online presence was fragmented and inconsistent, costing them significant visibility in local search across all three cities. Within 4 months, we unified their multi-location SEO strategy, increasing 'book a table' clicks by 230% and driving a measurable 15% increase in walk-in customers attributed to local search.
The Challenge
Fazenda's multi-location challenge was complex. Each restaurant had its own Google Business Profile, but they were managed inconsistently. The Leeds profile was reasonably optimised, Manchester had outdated hours and no posts, and Liverpool had duplicate listings causing ranking confusion. Their website had a single generic 'Locations' page rather than dedicated pages for each city. None of the locations appeared in the local pack for their most valuable keywords: 'restaurant Leeds', 'steakhouse Manchester', or 'Brazilian restaurant Liverpool'. Competitors like Gaucho and Rodizio Rico were dominating local search despite having fewer locations and lower review ratings. The marketing team estimated they were losing £15,000-20,000 per month in potential bookings from local search invisibility across the three cities.
Our Strategy
Phase 1. Audit & Research: We audited all three GBP profiles and the website, finding 58 total citation inconsistencies, duplicate GBP listings for Liverpool, and zero Restaurant schema markup. Keyword research revealed 90+ location-specific restaurant terms with high booking intent. Phase 2. Technical & On-Page: We created dedicated, content-rich landing pages for each location (fazenda.co.uk/leeds, /manchester, /liverpool) with unique content about each restaurant's atmosphere, menus, and local area. Added Restaurant, Menu, and LocalBusiness schema to each location page. Fixed mobile booking flow that was losing 40% of users. Phase 3. Off-Site & GBP: We resolved the Liverpool duplicate listing, fully optimised all three GBP profiles with professional food photography, implemented a weekly posting schedule alternating between food highlights, events, and seasonal menus. Submitted to 145 restaurant and hospitality directories for each location. Phase 4. Content & Ongoing: We implemented a review generation system using post-dining email sequences, created a food blog targeting 'best restaurants in [city]' keywords, and set up automated GBP posting for special events. Monthly reports tracked bookings attributed to each channel.
